Spanish music...

We went to a Spanish concert last night. It was pretty cool. There were 2 groups that performed and each person in the group was able to play many insturments. It was not a traditional concert. The groups played music from all around Spain. Different cultures and influences. I did not take my camera but others did so when this trip is over I will have some pictures of everything.

This is our hostel in Santiago. It was a million-year-old monestary. We are way down there on the bottom. Very cool place. 
This was last weekend in Toledo. It rained all morning so I didn't take a lot of pictures, but this was in the afternoon after we ate lunch.

Ok here are some pictures that I have taken over the past month or so. 

This is the group of us that went to La Coruna last month. This was of an Atlantic sunset and us in the picture. I thought it turned out pretty cool. 

This is my "Atlantic Sunset" picture. I know that my high school photo teacher always said she was tired of seeing sunsets. Well this was an item on the list and I really wanted to see an Atlantic sunset. We almost missed the train because I had to see it but I got the shot and we caught a cab and made the train back to Santiago. 

When we were on the way to the lighthouse there was this small isolated beach that had two entrances. One was a nice boardwalk on to the sand from the main road, the other was a very steep clif type of path. I don't really think you could call it a path. It was a fun little adventure. 

This is the park right by my school in Madrid. I spent a couple of hours walking around it one day. I didn't fine very many bugs to shoot but I thought that I should take some general pictures of the park. In this picture it is much greener than when we first got here. It is looking better and better every day.

Toledo...

We traveled to Toledo today. It is a town that has a lot of history and is known for metalworking.

I purchased a large sword and a smaller knife that I will use as a letter opener on my desk some day. The small one is about 12" long and the big one is about 3 or 4 feet long. 

Still waiting...

I know it's been a while. I am still waiting on my computer. It should be here any day. Today our landlord did not get the mail because there was a problem with the freezer. The entire thing was pulled out in the kitchen and one of the guys from Argentina that lives here was mad at her because his food was going bad. It was actually kind of funny. She had to fix the thing, I don't know what he wanted her to do.

Anyway, hopefully I will get my computer very soon so I can put up a few pictures and get back t life as usual.
